L1 Weekly News 29.3.19
In the morning in circle time we sat and spoke about what lovely things we had all done at the weekend. Cheerleading in the hall for those who are in the cheerleading squad. In Maths tens and units completing worksheets. In R,e speaking and listening about Shebatt and what happens during that time. In Technology we went outside to the play shed and made 3D models of a stage/car pupils had great fun.
In the morning in English we read Project x code books and practised our stile tiles. In Maths working on tens and units completing worksheets. After break English a chapter of How to Train your Dragon, in the book today Fishlegs was telling jokes, we had great fun in class telling jokes ourselves. After lunch Pen Coch visited us today for there transition afternoon, as the weather was lovely we went outside and had a good time in the play shed.
In the morning in English, another great chapter from How to Train your Dragon, pupils are really enjoying this book. In Maths completing worksheets on tens and units. In Culture learning about 3D. After lunch we had double P,e we went through to the hall and did a programme from go noodle, a great game of bench ball split into two teams. Then outside as the weather was really nice we used the outside exercise gym equipment.
In the morning in Maths we had a great game of Bingo eyes down look in, using our knowledge of tens and units. Double Humanities today all about ourselves, completing a lovely worksheet of how people would describe us happy/funny etc. Continued with this after break. After lunch we had Pse with Miss Fairclough all about describing today, we picked a celebrity and described what they look like hair/eye colour etc. Ict with Mr Morgan programming and using spheros .
In the morning in English we listened to Project X Hungry Plants completing a worksheet. A lovely trip to the River Dee Centre Flint, for a sweet treat, pupils had a nice time. After lunch we made some lovely treats for Mothers Day. Assembly in the hall L2’s all about Holi Festival. Iep’s then choose time.
