L1 Weekly News


In the morning we sat in circle time spoke about what lovely things we had all done over the weekend.  Cheerleading in the hall for pupils who are in the cheerleading squad, they have all worked really hard to get ready for competition which is happening in May.  In maths dominoes today pupils were really good and competitive.  After break Re continued listening and learning about Easter Story, completing worksheets.  After lunch double Technology carried on with learning all about bridges and how they are constructed.


In the morning we had English we all read our reading books, Project X fabulous reading by all pupils, practised our stile tiles.  In Maths using Numicon today completing worksheets.  After break a chapter from How to Train your Dragon completing a worksheet.  After lunch we had a lovely afternoon we all went into Flint to St. Marys Church to watch Pen Coch’s Easter Service.


In the morning Maths eggs to order on the whiteboard.  A lovely trip today to Flint Pavillion for a great game of bowling, pupils had a really great time and plenty of strikes too.  After lunch 5/60 Gymnastics competition over in Flint High School Sports Hall, pupils were amazing.


In English we listened to the final chapter of How to Train your Dragon what a great book pupils really enjoyed listening to this book, we then all sat and watched the 1st film to the book, with a treat of popcorn.  After lunch we all did some lovely Easter crafting hope you like your cards.  In Ict with Mr Morgan spheros controlling them around the school.


In the morning Project code book pupils enjoy listening to these books on the whiteboard.  Easter coffee morning in the hall, choir took part lovely singing.  After break going over our book that we have read this term How to Train your Dragon.  After lunch Assembly in the hall.
